Instructions

Insert the straw into the hose-end sprayer lid and attach the lid to the hose. Set dial to OFF.

Pour 4 oz. Cedarcide Outdoor Bug Control into the hose-end sprayer reservoir and add 22 oz. warm water. Attach the reservoir to the lid and shake well.

Turn your hose to full pressure and switch the dial to ON. Spray your lawn and other vegetation using slow, even strokes (1 reservoir treats approx. 5,000 sq. ft. before emptying).

If this is your first application, repeat again in two weeks. Then, apply monthly or more often as needed. For best results, apply in the morning or evening.

If rain is expected in the next 24-48 hours, wait to apply Outdoor Bug Control until the weather has passed and the soil is mostly dry. Re-application after heavy rain may be necessary.

Apply cedar granules throughout your lawn, including gardens, planters, around patios and decks, and along fences, foundations, garages and outbuildings. Reapply every 4–6 weeks.

"I purchased the cedarcide kit mainly to reduce the tick population in our yard. As a secondary reason hoping it also would help keep away the rabbits. So far so good. I have not been seeing as many ticks or rabbits. That being said we have had a lot of rain of late so I have needed to reapply the spray afterward. Pretty simple using the provided bottle that you attach to the hose. Our yard abuts a salt marsh so I wanted to use a natural product which this is. Give it a try."

"So far I’ve only been able to use the granules due to rainy conditions. I’ve had ants in my garden and around/on my bee hives. I have noticed a decrease in ants around the beehives which is awesome but they are still there. I just recently added to garden so I will update later. I also use the granules in my chicken coops but I hadn’t seen anything to know if it’s doing anything. It does make everything smell really good! I’m happy with my purchase and would recommend this product to anyone trying to do a more environmentally friendly pest treatment. Thank you!"

Do these help with mosquitos ?: Absolutely! Our Lawn Kit is third party tested to to kill and repel fleas, ticks, ants, mites, chiggers, mosquitoes, wasps, roaches, scorpions and Japanese beetles :)
I've just reseeded bare patches of my lawn and need to water twice daily while it germinates. Should I wait to spray and spread the granules until I no longer need to water the lawn every day?: Hi, Dani! Happy to help :) When you apply the lawn spray you're watering your lawn as well, so I would just do no additional watering that day besides the spray application and you should be good to go. Can you spread the cedar with a spreader or should you do so by hand? Also, will these rid us of the horrible earwigs we seem to have an abundance of?: Hi Tina, the spreaders make it easy to get it broadcast evenly. You just put it on the lowest setting. I've been spreading them by hand myself, so either way works. Yes, the granules will help deter earwigs, Our spray will actually eliminate them and their offspring, Both work together very well!
