"There is a bizarre absence of most bugs in my rural, 3-acre yard, including spiders, ants, mites, mosquitos and scorpions. (Grasshoppers remain but they get caught and used.) "Plant bugs" which cater directly to my food and pollinator gardens are kept at bay using Neem oil products). I use the liquid lemongrass bug product and cedar granules inside a 1/4 acre area where I garden and deal with chickens and compost. I mow the area low and use a watering can with diluted lemongrass product to saturate a wide perimeter [only] of the chicken coop and garden/compost areas but I DO NOT use it in the coop, beds or compost. I then sprinkle granules all over the ground and heavily sprinkle in certain other bug/snake-prone places. I do not use granules in the coop, beds or compost. I use spray-bottles filled with diluted lemongrass product for spot-spraying furniture and structures. (Note: I myself also have no problem spraying my skin and face with the diluted lemongrass mixture when I'm out sweating and working, though their product meant for that may work better.) For my 1/4 acre area, I use a full gallon (diluted per instruction) of the lemongrass concentrate and use all 4 bags of the granules. I keep back 5, pre-made gallons of diluted lemongrass product for refilling spray bottles in between orders. I'm on a budget and what I spend every 2-3 months with a discounted, recurring order of the 1 gallon concentrate and 4 bags granules is very well worth it to me. Yes it is expensive, but the benefits far outweigh the cost to me. Superior products. Game-changers. So I also used their wood treatment product on the wood outdoor chicken run and other wood things, months before they arrived. I DID NOT use it inside the coop. I also used the product on a cedar chest that I use outside. I wish I could afford more because it is really a great product. I had to use my own sprayer because the one that came with broke after one use. They refunded me no question. Excellent customer service."
