Q&A

There is a tab between the water on and off. Do I break this off? I am bending the tab that is stopping the lever from being able to go from water on to water off. It’s difficult to do this especially when hands are wet. The sprayer emptied 8 oz.’s quickly when I started to use the sprayer, I could smell the cedar. After spraying for a long period of time, the liquid in the sprayer was still the same amount and I could no longer smell the cedar. Do you have a how to video for the sprayer. I’ve used end of hose sprayers before.
Hi there! Apologies for the delay and happy to help :) Firstly, yes, that safety tab is intended to stop the dial from moving during operation—it just needs to be pushed to the side to allow the dial to switch between settings. As for the sprayer emptying and then not, it sounds like the internal straw became detached. The 3 main reasons the bottle will fail to pull product out of the bottle are either the straw becomes loose (simply reattach firmly with the angled end pointing down), the water pressure is too low (set it to full pressure), or the sprayer dial is not all the way turned to "On" (even if it's slightly angled toward "water" it can fail to pull up product, but the straw is normally the issue. As for it emptying quickly, our lawn products in the hose end sprayer apply fairly quickly, anywhere from 4-10 mins depending on water pressure. The higher your home's pressure, the faster it will spray. Pro tip: there's no need to treat areas twice and you can move pretty fast through the lawn. The only areas I would give it a really good soak are dense shrubbery, mulch beds, and ant mounds if you come across any.   If you're still experiencing issues after these tips, let us know and we can get a new sprayer sent out for you ASAP. We want to ensure you're taken care of here, D.
